[edit] Changes in light of eselect fontconfig?

How would one incorporate the "modern" approach of using eselect fontconfig for font configuration into these instructions? Surely the The Xft Font System section could be greatly simplified with the use of this tool... - dcljr 12:24, 5 August 2010 (GMT)
